Tulsa’s Discovery Lab has become one of the best places to take the family for a day full of fun and learning.
We love taking our boys to the Discovery Lab and here’s our list of 10 Reasons you should visit.
10. The Fun

The exhibits are so much fun and interactive. Our boys spent hours playing and learning. My wife and I even had fun playing with them in many of the exhibits.
9. It’s Educational
Not only will your kids have fun but they will learn so much during their visit. The exhibits are all centered around STEM and they really do encourage learning.
8. The Location
It is located right next to the Gathering Place. There is plenty of parking and it’s not far from some major highways.
7. The Cost
It costs $10 (ages 2 and up) to visit but if you plan on making multiple visits the membership might be worth looking into.
6. Science Demos
There are multiple hands on experiments you and your family can participate in.
5. Events
Discovery Lab has regular events through the year. Some sensory friendly events and some member only events. Find out more on their events page.
4. It’s Inside and Air Conditioned
If you’re an Okie you know it can get crazy hot in the summer and pretty darn cold in the winter. Discovery Lab is a great place to visit any time of the year but it’s really nice to visit in the heat of the summer, a rainy day or in the cold winter months.

Discovery Lab has some wonderful event spaces that are perfect for birthday parties and more.
