We recently enjoyed a long weekend stay at Cibola Vista in Peoria, Arizona. (Not far from Phoenix) During our stay we enjoyed the many aspects of the resort and some fun things in the area.
Here is our list of 5 Reasons to Stay at Cibola Vista.
5. The Pools
Arizona gets hot and the pool is where you wanna go after a day of hiking or to enjoy the sun. Cibola Vista has multiple pools. A large pool, an adult only pool and a hot tub the size of a pool! The large pool is AMAZING! It has a large twist water slide, a lap pool section, a swirl section, multiple water jets, and more.
If it’s too much action going on at the big pool the adult pool is far enough to keep out the noise. Although we had no problems with noise or annoyances at the big pool during our visit.
4. The Rooms
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved having a balcony to sit at and watch the hummingbirds.
We enjoyed having a full kitchen and fridge in our room.
It was extremely convenient to cook delicious meals from our room.
3. The On-site Activities and Food
Ping pong tables, corn hole, yard chess, tennis/ basketball court and more.
It was great being able to play fun activities right on the resort. We really enjoyed playing tennis with the provided equipment before cooling off in the pool.
The food truck/ bar. The food and drinks were delicious and in a very accessible area.
Right by the pool is a food truck/ bar that makes a variety of food and drinks.
We loved the Pina Coladas and the quesadilla. There are virgin options for the kiddos, that even the adults enjoyed as well.
2. The Location
The resort is located in Peoria, Arizona. Just a short drive from the Phoenix, Airport.
It is not too far away for a day trip to Sedona. (We loved our hiking day in Sedona) and close to many excursions.

1. The Western Town and Stable
Just across from the entrance is a little western town where you can play activities , see animals and ride horses.
