We arrived for our first stay here at this amazing hotel near the end of May 2022.
There are many Reasons to stay at the Ellison Hotel but here’s our Top 5.
5. The Ellison Hotel Staff
The staff across the hotel were polite and very helpful. Every encounter we had with the staff was a great experience. The employees were very accommodating and eager to help whenever needed.
4. The Rooms at the Ellison Hotel
The Rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is evident just how intentional the hotel was with their decorating decisions. Everything is so well thought out.
The beds were soft and cozy and the window view was beautiful. We were able to see the pool from our window. This helped us decide when to come down and enjoy the pool!
We had a double-bed room so we had plenty of room for us to sleep.
They have a small mini fridge that makes it nice to store leftovers or drinks. We were able to fit our 6 pack of pop from Pops on Route 66.
The bathroom was beautiful. We were especially excited by the hand held shower head to go along with the traditional overhead shower head. The pressure was perfect and both temperatures were easy to adjust.
We loved having our extra fancy Ellison bathrobes.
3. The Rooftop Pool, Lounge Area and Rooftop Bar
The Rooftop area was stunning.
The pool area exceeded our expectations. It is a perfect place for some good quality relaxation.
The rooftop bar had a great drink selection and the lounge area by the bar was comfortable with plenty of seating to enjoy a poolside drink along with some great views of OKC.
2. The Milo Restaurant within the Hotel
A visit to the Ellison Hotel is not complete without a meal at the Milo.
Milo serves contemporary food from Chef Joshua Valentine (“Top Chef” finalist). We had a delicious dinner and brunch here.

The Ellison is in Oklahoma City near the Downtown Art district.
It’s close to the arts district and it’s a short drive to Bricktown.
Overall
Overall, we each loved staying at the Ellison Hotel. It’s such a beautiful and fun hotel to stay at in OKC.
