Our family enjoys 4D theaters. They are a fun experience for learning and adventure. The National WWII Museum has a state-of-the-art 4D theater where visitors are transported back in time, surrounded by the sights and sounds of battles, offering an immersive understanding of the war’s intensity.

The theatre experience includes actual artifacts and props lifting from the floor and lowering from the ceiling making this 4d theatre experience unlike any we have witnessed. We were very impressed.

1. Special rotating and Temporary Exhibits

The National WWII Museum features special exhibits drawn from their own collections and relevant traveling exhibits.

During our visit we saw an impressive Walt Disney Studios and WWII exhibit. They did not allow photos but it contained films and prints that were used for training, propaganda and entertainment during WWII. This exhibit continues through September 2023. Find more info on this exhibit here.
