Fremont (Old Vegas) is a must see on any Las Vegas Trip no matter how short of time you are there.
I regret not visiting Fremont on my first Vegas trip but thankfully I was able to visit on two different days this last time. It was always a great time.
Here’s 5 reasons you need to visit Fremont in Las Vegas.
5. The Live Music
Fremont has some of the most talented musicians on stage for free to the public
There are multiple stages with different performers. We saw rock bands, dj’s, fiddle players and more.
4. The Street Performers
Not only do they have great live music on stage they also have many street performers that are extremely talented.
Be sure to stick around and watch their skills and give them a tip if you enjoyed the show!
We saw a kid drummer, acrobats, puppeteers, photo ops, and more.
3. The Fremont Restaurants
Fremont has some of the best food in Vegas.
They have many unique options for sit down restaurants to quick bites.
Our friend’s favorite is Flippin’ Good Chicken. It was delicious, I also enjoyed the Evel Pie Pizza Restaurant.
2. The Viva Vision Light Show (overhead display screen show)
The Viva Vision Light Show is amazing. The screens above the street show a variety of moving pictures and it goes with the music.
1. The Attractions and Casinos
Fremont has many attractions. The most amazing one is the zip lines.
If you want to zip line book it in advance because it can book quickly,
There’s also a great Karaoke Bar (The Cats Meow) and many casinos. The casinos on Fremont have lower minimums so you can play longer and more.
Many people also say you have better odds in Fremont as well.

Tips for visiting Fremont.
1. Dress comfortably
Bring a change of shoes or show up in comfortable shoes. The clubs dress codes in Fremont isn’t as strict as the strip.
2. Book your zip line in advance.
If you want to zip line, book it in advance. We didn’t get to do it on our last visit.
3. Stay in Fremont

4. Get a ride.
We prefer Uber or Lyft.
Getting to and from Fremont is super easy with an Uber or Lyft. They also have cabs as well if that’s what you prefer.
5. Souvenir shop before you get your drinks.
You can’t bring drinks in the souvenir shops so do your shopping first.
6. Come Hungry
As I mentioned before Fremont has delicious foods and affordable prices.
We loved Flippin’ Good Chicken and Evel Pie.
