Ermilios Foodie Review + Tips for your visit

We were hearing great things about Ermilios Restaurant in Eureka Springs, Arkansas and were so thankful for an opportunity to finally try it.

Ermilios Foodie Review and Tips for your visit!

What is Ermilios?

Ermilios provides Italian home cooking within a historic Victorian home.

The bottom floor of the home is the restaurant and the top floor is a cash bar and waiting area complete with board games and comfortable chairs.

They serve a great selection of Italian food, with specials and great service.

What are the hours of Ermilios?

Ermilios is only open from 4pm- 8pm, 7 days a week.

We recommend getting there early and relaxing in the upstairs. There you can enjoy some drinks from the cash bar and play board games, look at art for sale and / or talk with fellow visitors.

Our experience at Ermilios.

We arrived early around 330pm. It gave us enough time to go check out the building and get some drinks from the cash bar. Before we knew it we were all being called downstairs for dinner.

The restaurant was busy but we didn’t think it was uncomfortable. It’s not a romantic type setting but more of a family restaurant.

The walls were lined with family photos and the tables were clean and comfortable.

The wait staff were fast and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the specials and the menu.

They brought us some bread which was delicious. It came with fresh garlic cloves and butter. Our waitress recommended us using it to make our own garlic butter. It was amazing.

We also wanted to try out an appetizer. I like finding things I haven’t heard of or can get at other restaurants, so we ordered the Gorgonzola Bread Rounds. It consists of slices of our crusty, whole-grain bread topped with Gorgonzola cheese, flame-broiled until golden, and garnished with crisp apple slices. I wasn’t sure about the apples on top but it fit in perfectly. It didn’t taste quite right without the apple slices.

For our salad we went for the Caesar salad. They have their own take of Caesar salad and we enjoyed it. The dressing was even throughout the salad which was nice.

For our meals I went with the lasagna because it was the special. Wednesday and Saturday are Lasagna special days.

My wife got the Linguine noodles. She was interested in trying the Gorgonzola sauce but also wanted Alfredo so the waitress suggested that she get both. She also had chicken within her pasta.

Overall thoughts of Ermilios

We loved our meals and will definitely be dining at Ermilios again.
