When it’s time for dessert in Eureka Springs you must head over to Famous Ed’s Food Wagon.

What is Famous Ed’s Food Wagon?
Famous Ed’s Food Wagon is kind of like a food truck. Only here, you can get 9 flavors of soft serve ice cream.

The Environment of Famous Ed’s
At Famous Ed’s, you not only get delicious soft serve ice cream, you also get great service in a fun environment.
Behind the Food Wagon, there are multiple benches, chairs and tables to sit at under the shade.
In this adorable spot, you will see all kinds of old signs decorated around the area.
Ed used to make signs for many companies around town and today he re-purposes them as decorations and table covers.
Famous Ed’s Food
We visited for an afternoon snack since it was such a hot summer day. What better snack than ice cream?!
We were surprised to see 9 flavors of soft serve ice cream available.
You can choose to have your ice cream in a sugar cone, waffle cone or a cup. Cash and Cale got sugar cones and Kayla and I got our ice cream in waffle cones!
The boys and I got chocolate, similar to a “twist”, (vanilla and chocolate swirled together). Kayla couldn’t decide between two flavors so Ed suggested she got the butter pecan and cheesecake swirled together and ended up getting both!
We ate every last bit of our ice cream. So yummy!
Overall Thoughts
We enjoyed our time at Famous Ed’s. The ice cream was delicious and Ed was super friendly and fun.
The Location
Famous Ed’s is 1.9 miles from downtown and right down the road from the Great Passion Play. If you go to the play it’s a perfect stop before or after.
If you make a trip over there, make sure to tell them The Myers Family from Family Travel Go said hi!

They are open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday – Wednesday (He also said some nights he stays open later so people can stop by for a snack after the Passion Play.)
