The Environment of Sparky’s

The building itself is interesting because part of it used to be a car wash and the other part used to be a gas station. They connected both buildings creating what it is today. It’s fun seeing the different rooms and how different they all are.

They have two outdoor seating areas both unique and fun. You will see the first outdoor area upon entering the building. The second area is in the back that has misters to keep you cool during the summer.

Each room is decorated with all kinds of fun things. The room we ate in had a bowling lane complete with a bowling ball and pins hanging upside down on the ceiling. There were also all kinds of things on the walls and shelves to keep us entertained as they prepared our food.

We started out with some chips and queso. The queso was different than what we get at the Tex-mex restaurant around Oklahoma but it was a good kind of different.

I ordered the burger that had been voted as the best in Arkansas, The Wally Burger.

It comes with grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, & swiss cheese on a ciabatta bun. (I’m not a big fan of mushrooms but I like trying new things so I had them placed on the side). The burger was delicious and the fries were so good!

Kayla was torn between the chili and the bean burger until our waitress suggested she get the Chili Burger made with a bean patty. It was very filling, as she was only able to finish half of it in one sitting, but it made for great left overs!

Cash got the kids burger and ate it up. He enjoyed it and the fries. It’s rare when we don’t have to beg him to eat his food!

Cale got the chicken and fries. It came with a cup of ranch, and if you know Cale is his ranch obsessed.

I ate some of his chicken because it was a large kids plate and he was unable to finish it all. The tenders were large and tasty with a nice crunchy breading.

We finished it off with dessert, a big Brownie Sunday which we quickly demolished. The brownie had nuts mixed in and it was perfect for the 4 of us to share.

Side note:

Sparky’s isn’t a fast food place, they cook the meals per order but it seemed to come out fast for us. It may be because there were so many entertaining decorations to look at and the staff was fun to talk to.
