Discover Tulsa Expo RV Park: 5 Reasons to Stay and our Review

When you’re traveling through Tulsa or wanting to stay near the city’s best attractions, Expo RV park is a great option.

Expo RV Park offers a comfortable, convenient, and surprisingly quiet place to stay—right in the heart of the action.

Whether you’re in town for a horse show, concert, or just passing through on a road trip, this RV park delivers more than just hookups—it offers a true Tulsa experience.

Here are 5 reasons to make Expo RV Park your next stop:

1. Unbeatable Location at Expo Square

Located on the grounds of Expo Square, home to the Tulsa State Fair and countless year-round events, this RV park gives you immediate access to one of the region’s premier event venues.

Whether it’s the Tulsa State Fair, a livestock show, gun show, flea market, or sporting event, you can walk from your camper to the action in minutes—no parking hassles or traffic.

Basically the whole west side is designated camping spots. There are multiple lots with full hookups all along the secure fence line.

2. Full Hookups and Spacious Sites

Expo RV Park offers full hookups including 30/50 amp electrical service, water, and sewer at every site.

With both pull-through and back-in spots available, you’ll find it easy to set up—even if you’re towing a larger fifth wheel or motorhome.

My water pressure change showed only 30 psi and we had no issues with showers or sinks.

Plus, wide lanes and plenty of space make navigation and parking simple.

3. On site amenities

Expo RV Park not only has full hookups. They also offer a laundry room, restrooms, shade trees, a dog run, lighting and security.

4. Safe, Quiet, and Pet-Friendly

Despite being in the middle of Tulsa, Expo RV Park feels tucked away.

Security patrols and gated access during events offer peace of mind, while the open layout and grassy areas make it pet- and family-friendly.

It’s a great mix of urban convenience with a bit of campground charm.

5. Close to Tulsa’s Top Attractions

Many attractions are within very short distance.

The water park currently known as Paradise Beach formerly known as Safari Joes H20 and Big Splash is only 3 mins away and the Admiral Twin Drive in theatre is 10 minutes away.

Less than 20 minutes from the Tulsa Zoo and Gathering Place and other favorite Tulsa places like Cherry Street, downtown, and the Route 66 corridor.

If you’re into shopping or dining, the nearby areas of Midtown and Utica Square won’t disappoint.

Our Thoughts, Experience and Review of staying at Expo RV Park in Tulsa :

Whether you’re attending an event or just exploring Tulsa, Expo RV Park offers a solid combination of comfort, convenience, and cost-effectiveness. If you’re looking for a reliable stay in a central location with full amenities, this park is hard to beat.

We enjoyed staying here 4 nights in mid June 2025. It was not very busy at all. Our family enjoyed riding bikes around the property and visiting the Golden Driller.

We attended the Route 66 Road Fest and loved the quick access to and from the show.

The price was reasonable and comparable to other sites around the city with full hookups.

The park was clean and we enjoyed the security on site.

Overall we would recommend staying at Expo RV Park when visiting Tulsa or attending an event.
