Why is there a giant leg lamp in Chickasha, Oklahoma?
The reason there is a giant leg lamp in Oklahoma is because local Chickasaw resident Nolan James made the first leg lamp as an art project many years ago, and it inspired a producer from “The Christmas Story” to include one in the movie.
