Astra Lumina in Gatlinburg is the United States first immersive night walk by Moment Factory.
It’s much more than just a night walk with lights. It’s a unique experience set up with a large variety of different lights and sounds combined with nature.

Our experience at Astra Lumina
We were extremely impressed with the Astra Lumina experience at Anakeesta.
We weren’t sure what to expect. We knew it was a light show but the immersion was impressive.
It was unlike anything we have experienced on our travels. The way the shows surround you and display such beautiful works of art are beyond comparison.
Our walk had multiple 4 minute light shows that were each unique and amazing.
How long will Astra Lumina be available to see at Anakeesta in Gatlinburg?
It is currently open on weekends through the winter season and will be open nightly starting in March. I’m honestly not sure how long Astra Lumina will be an attraction at Anakeesta but I recommend seeing it as soon as you can.
How long is the Astra alumina experience?
It can take around 45 minutes. There are 8 immersive light show that last 4 minutes each.
There are benches for sitting in some areas. If it has rained be sure to check the bench before sitting. It is dark and I sat my bottom on a puddle filled bench.
It is a timed event where you can enter at your selected ticketed time.
What is the Cost of Astra Lumina at Anakeesta?
The Cost for Astra Lumina is combined with the cost to get into Anakeesta. There are many fun things to see and experience at Anakeesta in addition to the Astra Lumina experience.
