Ole Red is a unique restaurant, bar, shop, and music venue with great live music and great food in downtown Nashville. It’s Blake Sheltons restaurant. They have locations in Nashville Tennessee, Nashville airport, Orlando Florida, Gatlinburg Tennessee, and Tishomingo Oklahoma.

The restaurant has multiple floors. The bottom floor has the main stage with open seating with a bar. The second floor is the restaurant where they will seat you.

The Lookout is the rooftop that has indoor and outdoor seating, live music ,a bar and full wait staff.

What are the hours of Ole Red in Nashville?

Ole Red is open for lunch, dinner and appetizers / drinks from 11am– 2am, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and from 11am to 12am Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

They don’t allow reservations so we recommend going early to put your name down or try to find open seating on the bottom or floor or rooftop,

Our experience at Ole Red Nashville.

The balcony / 2nd floor area had a 3 hour wait when we arrived. Thankfully we went to the lookout on the rooftop to see if we could find any seating.

We were amazed to find a table that would hold all 6 of us. So we didn’t have to wait at all.

The Lookout

The Lookout has inside seating, a full bar, and outside seating with heaters within tents.

Our waitress was great! She was busy taking care of a lot of people but did a great job cleaning our table, bringing drinks, refills and our food.

The Food at Ole Red

For our meals I went with the Austin Brisket Sandwich. It consisted of Smoked Brisket, Chorizo Hot Link, Vinegar Slaw, Onion Straws, Pickled Okra, White Bar-B-Que Sauce on a Potato Bun. It was delicious! I really loved every bite.

My wife ordered the Trash Talkin Taco Salad. It construed of Taco Meat, Fritos®, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Black Olives, Red Beans, Fire Roasted Salsa, Sour Cream, Jalapeños, Lime, and Catalina Dressing. She loved it.

Our boys had Mac n Cheese and one had fries as a side and the other had tortilla chips. Our boys are picky with Mac n cheese. It wasn’t their favorite but I loved it. It was like real cheese and tasty. But if you have picky kids like ours you might have them order a burger or chicken tenders.

We were surprised how fast the food came out despite the business of the restaurant.

Not only was the food great but the live music and the views were amazing.

The Views from the Rooftop Lookout Area

We could see the whole area from the lookout. It seemed like this was the tallest restaurant on the whole strip.

It even has great views of the Batman building! (at tower)

Overall thoughts of Old Red Nashville.

We loved the whole experience at Ole Red in Nashville and have to try some of the other locations, especially the one in our home state of Oklahoma! It’s a great place for music food and fun! Don’t let the wait time scare you. I’m certain you can find open seating like we did.
