Many people say there is nothing to do in Oklahoma, but I’m here to tell you those people are mistaken. That’s why we started our “Whats there to do in Oklahoma” series. Oklahoma actually has places to see and things to do that you may have never heard about. Shuffles Bord Game Cafe in Tulsa is one of those places.

What is Shuffles Board Game Cafe?

Shuffles is Tulsa’s first Tulsa’s first board game cafe. Where you can bring your family to eat and play board games or go out with friends have a drink at the bar and enjoy a night of board games.

At shuffles you will find employees that are Game Masters. The Game Masters recommend games based on your interests, they also teach you how to play the games and help answer any questions you may have.

 

Our experiences at Shuffles Board Game Cafe

We went to Shuffles Board Game Cafe after throwing Axes at Angry Axe and dining at Mother Road Market.

It was a random spur of the moment idea that we all really enjoyed. Our friends Daniel and Katera had been there before and knew we would just love it. Kayla and I actually met playing board games at a friends house so we are all about it. It was pretty late when we arrived but we were thankful to have a Game Master still working and plenty of time for fun.

 

Our game master asked us what types of games we enjoy and he brought us a game he thought we would enjoy. He was right it was so fun.

After playing the first game we played a few of Daniel and Katera’s favorite games from their previous visits to Shuffles Board Game Cafe. Of course they beat us but we still had so much fun. Maybe we were going easy on them after beating them in Axe throwing.

 Food and Drinks

They had a great selection of food and drinks. Daniel ordered some fries and we had waters. We weren’t too hungry after eating at Mother Road Market. They also have a full bar if you want to come have a few drinks and play board games.

They also have all kinds of snacks and meals. The prices are reasonable as well.  Check out their full menu on their website.

If you are not hungry or wanting to buy drinks you may get a drink from “the well” the water fountain that is made to refill bottles.

Tuesday  $3 for unlimited gameplay

Friday 11am – 6pm  free unlimited gameplay with $10 minimum purchase

Saturday 11am – 6pm  $6 for unlimited gameplay

Sunday 11am – 10pm  $6 for unlimited gameplay

 

Hourly Gameplay

Friday 6pm – 12am  $5 per hour

Saturday 6pm – 12am  $5 per hour

Game passes are priced per person.

 

Gift shop

Shuffles has merchandise and board games for sale. You can purchase many of the games you play or buy clothing including hats and shirts.
